Apr 30 - End of Course Exam Review

Hey Folks,

We are nearing the end. One final task is left, the End of Course exam. Today, we will re-familiarize ourselves with this part of the AP test and figure out a way to best engage with Part B.

Also, it is necessary and required that all of you submit your AP number to digital portfolio by the end of day today.

End of Course Exam

Hey Folks,

Below are some hyperlinks to check out. On Monday we will take some time to discuss.

  1. End of Course Exam Rubrics - Hyperlink
    1. Please read through these (both A and B) and come to class with questions
  2. End of Course Exam - Part B - Hyperlink
    1. Please read from page 9 till the end. That is the task that is now referred to as Part B (in 2016 it was called Section II).
  3. After reading through the rubric and examining the task in Part B, please come prepared on Monday to discuss these items as well as the way to match the task with an appropriate written response.

April 16-27 - Independent Multimedia Presentation

The time has come to start the IMP. Since no one brought it up, and it would be more inconvenient to present in Cohen's room, we will be presenting in K4. Hopefully that is ok with everyone. Here are some last minute suggestions/requirements/information:

  1. Come on time (everyone)
  2. Set your Google Slides to 4:3
  3. Submit the IWA to Google Classroom and Digital Portfolio by the evening of 4/16
  4. Submit you IMP through Google Classroom before you present
  5. Presentations will be through a Chromebook and the device will not be in view during your presentation
  6. A time keeper will be assigned in the front of the room
  7. Email me with any questions!
I am excited to see all of your presentations. Remember, all of you should assume that I know nothing about your topic. Yes, there is general knowledge that can be assumed, but make sure you are clear in your context and definitions of technical vocabulary (if relevant to your research).

See you soon,

- Mr. T

Apr 6 - Final Workday (PTII)

Hey there folks. Today is our last workday. I hope you have a restful break and are not scrambling to complete work for this class or any other.

When we get back you will be required to submit your IWA to digital portfolio, yet feel free to submit it whenever you know you are finished.

Have a great Spring Break!
